| Formed in November 2008 with a mixture of Kiwis and Brits, The Cartel decided to find a niche in the Queenstown band scene that would take advantage of both their talents and musical desires.
This meant playing some ‘harder’ rock including Foo Fighters, Muse, Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age whilst still incorporating both old and contemporary classics. They are continually updating themselves with the modern music scene and take pride in embracing many music styles.
Already well established in Queenstown, they are regularly playing at the town’s biggest venues.
